Procedures determine the requirement
Calibration needs depend on the vehicle, equipment, replaced or repaired parts, diagnostic results, and manufacturer instructions—not a single rule for every repair.
Scanning and calibration are different
A scan reads diagnostic information. Calibration teaches a camera or sensor its correct position or reference. A repair may require one, both, or neither depending on procedures.
Verification belongs in the plan
Required calibrations, documentation, warning-light checks, alignment results, and post-repair scans should be reviewed before the vehicle is delivered.
